Creating Value

Reading Bart’s blog i’ve found this interesting article about creating sustainable value in the technologic business.

The question is always the same: “what is the business model aplicable to open source development?”. That question I’ve also been asked too many times, last one in the RFDG in Universidad Central. Business cases like Netscape surely does not help us to answer that question making a positive impression of the possible success of an open source business. So, what should be different with Flock?. Bart kows that beeter than us as he was once the man behind Eazel (any one remembers the born of Nautilus?) so failure is kown to him in the past.

Anyways, some very well kown entrepreneur once told me that the most successful business men in the country are full of failures in their past. Maybe this is the time for Flock.

Flock

From a post in Kapeka‘s WP blog I ended up in Flock website. Flock is a new browser project based on Gecko (again), with some new add-ons for bloggers as it have included a blog xml-rpc administrator and other features oriented to social networks. Web 2.0 mis polainas.

Let’s give it a try.
